The Challenge

Feedvisor has created an innovative algorithm that is capable of real-time optimization for pricing (Repricing) on Amazon, leading to increased sales for online store owners. The company has now expanded to target the international market, with a specific focus on the United States.

The challenge presented was tough and multifaceted. On one hand, the goal was to enhance the site’s organic traffic from Google. However, due to its unique and specific field, search volumes are relatively low. This requires targeting more competitive general phrases to gain visibility and attract traffic. On the other hand, like any start-up at the beginning of its journey, resources were limited.

The Solution

Keyword research

As the search volumes of key phrases were comparatively low, and general queries like “how to increase sales on Amazon” were highly competitive, we made a strategic decision to concentrate on long tail phrases instead. This approach can help us rank better in search results and drive targeted traffic to our website.

Starting with long-tail phrases provides a key advantage for start-ups at the beginning of their journey – a higher conversion ratio. By targeting more specific search terms, businesses can attract customers who are more likely to convert, ultimately leading to a better return on investment (ROI).

Keywords targeting and adjustment

We identified phrases on the site that did not have relevant answers and began creating new pages specifically targeting those phrases. To capture the user’s interest, we selected articles from company blog and led users through a sales funnel with the goal of generating leads.

Meta tag optimization

To improve our click-through rates and ultimately our rankings, we prioritized standing out amongst competitors in search results. This was achieved by crafting attention-grabbing meta descriptions and titles that communicate valuable information to potential customers. Additionally, calls to action were included to further encourage engagement with our website.

Creating a content strategy

Feedvisor aimed to establish itself as a credible eCommerce knowledge hub. We helped them achieve this by developing a resources section that includes not only webinars and e-books, but also a video blog and other valuable resources. This move demonstrates Feedvisor’s commitment to providing relevant and comprehensive insights on eCommerce to their audience.

Our team also implemented a process that involves close collaboration with Feedvisor’s content department. This helps us provide valuable guidance on producing content around topics that have high search volumes and align with the client’s search result position.

Handling 404 errors

During the time that the website was active, several pages were modified without any 301 redirects to the updated pages. Consequently, there were many 404 errors that prevented the links from delivering their full potential power. We successfully identified and located these pages and implemented necessary references to minimize all errors.

Off page

To promote our e-commerce-related content, our strategy was to reach out to bloggers who specialize in the same field. We provided them with valuable guides and articles on topics related to our interests. Every article included a credit link back to our website, which helped drive traffic and improve our website’s authority as a leader in its field.

The Results

Our tailored SEO strategy for Feedvisor, a B2B SaaS startup in a niche market, led to a 28% bounce rate improvement and an impressive 121% increase in organic traffic. Additionally, new visitors to the website increased by 30%. By targeting long-tail phrases, optimizing meta tags, and creating valuable content, we addressed challenges such as low search volumes and limited resources, establishing Feedvisor as a credible eCommerce knowledge hub.
